About our founder:

Myron Franklin is a nationally recognized educational leader, consultant, and coach with a reputation for transforming the impossible into reality.

With nearly two decades of experience leading in rural, urban, and alternative education settings, Myron understands firsthand the challenges — and the possibilities — that schools face.

As the Executive Principal of Johnson Learning Center, he redefined what an alternative school could be: a place of restoration, recalibration, and student empowerment. Under his leadership, Johnson Learning Center introduced student-led podcasts, wellness zones, and groundbreaking intervention programs — turning systemic barriers into new standards of excellence.

Today, through Poignant Solutions, Myron brings his proven frameworks, culturally grounded leadership practices, and unwavering belief in people-powered change to schools and organizations nationwide.
